Mr. Gupta is right so far as the Rule Book is concerned.. But in the entire state of West Bengal name just one 'State Public Information Officer' or SPIO from any Police Station... or any SPIO in SDPO's Office at sub-divisional level... or any SPIO in SP's office at district level...You shall surely lose the bet. Please visit WBIC's website.. or any district's SP's website or some of the SDPO's website [since all SDPO's & the P.S.'s are not on web]you shall find many things except the name of the SPIO... Yes, you will find one at the state level posted at Kolkata... So from whom shall you ask for it when the subject raised by Mr. Kumar is dealt at P.S. level??? Nevertheless the department is looked after by the CM directly... Please watch out the shade under the lamp... |
