Regarding: Status on police verification for my passport application

I applied for reissue of passport on 16th Dec 2011, its file number is HY20*****111, I had police verification in Feb 2012 by Mr. Chandra Shekar. I have produced all the documents requested by the officer and he was satisfied with the documents and also produced neighbors as witnesses to confirm I am staying in the current address for more than 1 year. Even produced the allotment later given by builder in 2007 to confirm, I am owner and resident of the current flat.

Officer also confirmed that he will send the report to passport office in 15 days, but when I inquired about the passport status at RPO, Secundrabad, they are still waiting for the police verification report which is pending from Superintendent of Police office.

RPO office also mentioned that they have sent a remainder on 2nd April 2012 to get the status on police verification report.

When the police verification clearance report will be sent to RPO, Secundrabad?

Why the SP office has taken 2 months and still report is not sent to RPO?

Hoping to receive my passport at the earliest as my wife and children need to apply for their respective passport applications, which is dependent on this passport.

I am also attaching the letter I received from the RPO, Secundrabad regarding the passport status.
