I am Rajesh Sharma.I  live  in Najafgarh New Delhi and I belongs to a medium class family. I am working in a Private sector in Finance Department BPO. I joined a new process in my office which has come from Kenya and my office wants to send me to Kenya for training purpose for 2 months. I don’t have the passport; I applied for Tatkal Passport in Passport Seva Portal on June 9, 2012. I found there has no appointment date after apply the passport through online application form and site is showing please try after 6 PM and after that I always try to login and try to fix a appointment, but still there has not seat for appointment. I contact a dealer he said as per the government rule for tatkal passport passport office need the verifications for higher authorities like. SHO, SDM, Major etc. I went to my Najafgarh Police Station in SHO’s Office for verify the verification form and he said he will not verify my form as he don’t know me he didn’t to listen anything and I came to my house. Then I contact to my uncle he said he knows the X MLA and he will surely help me and next day my father and uncle went to MLA’s house and he also refuse that he cann’t help me and then my office unable to provide me the opportunity and I lost the great opportunity for my experience.

I want to know that If a Middle class family haven’t the contact any government employee for verification, then who will help them and who is the responsible person for that area. I think it’s a responsibility of their area’s SHO.

Sir, Please help me and provide the information for how we can apply for Tatkal Passport and how many days it will take and how do the passport office works.
