Particulars of information required: As per list mentioned below

1. How is the petroleum crude sourced? Is it by importing or from indigenous sources or both?

2. If it is imported, provide the complete details of various sources from which / whom the same is imported.

3. How is it sourced? Is it by outright purchase or on credit or a combination of both?

4. If it is by credit, please furnish the complete details pertaining to all the transactions of the agencies from whom the credit is obtained, including the detailed credit informations pertaining to each credit sources. Is the credit by collateral security? If yes, what are the collateral securities and details thereof?

5. If it is by outright purchase, furnish the complete details of all the transactions so far. Furnish the source of funding for all the transactions of the outright purchase.

6. Is the petroleum prices fixed by the Govt. of India?

If yes, How is the petroleum prices for the consumers fixed by the Govt. of India? Give complete break up of all the elements going into the price fixation formula and the details pertaining to all the transactions thereof.

If no, how and who fixes the price and who accords the approval for the same, along with complete details thereof.

7. How is the petroleum prices for the consumers fixed by the agency/s? Give complete break up of all the elements going into the price fixation formula and the details pertaining to all the transactions thereof.

8. If the sourcing of petroleum products are from indigenous sources, furnish the complete details of all the indigenous sources, including the quantum and procurement costs, quantity pertaining to the period under which the information is sought.

9. What is the oil pool? Give complete details of the functioning of the oil pool including the amount available in the oil pool.

10. Who administrates the oil pool and what cost?

11. What is the amount transferred to the oil pool and methodology of fixing the amount for transfer along with the details of various authorities delegated with the authority for transferring and the amount transferred pertaining to the period under which the information is sought.

12. Does the amount under the oil pool get levied from the consumer or is it from the union budget or from the transaction amounts from the sale proceeds of the petroleum products?

13. What is the percent contribution of the oil pool out of the sale proceeds of the petroleum products?

14. What is the production cost of each petroleum products? Is the cost of production cost audited? If yes, details of agencies undertaking the cost audit may be furnished. If no, reasons for not undertaking the cost auditing may be furnished. Is the details of the cost auditing or absence of cost auditing made public? If yes, details thereof may be furnished. If no, the reasons thereof may be furnished.

15. Give complete break up of each and every element constituting the retail petroleum products, including the base cost, production cost, duties, transportation, commission amount and all such elements may be furnished.
