Subject: Whether Anti Dumping duty is applicable to raw fibre glass uncoated sleevings, also called “Glass Fibre woven fabrics in tubular form”

WE ARE AN ISO 9001-2008, 100ppm SSI WITH 20 ODD WORKERS IN CHENNAI

1) We manufacture fibre glass insulating sleevings for the electric and electronic and electronic industries. It is a thermal & electrical insulation product.

2) We have imported fiberglass woven fabrics in tubular form of say diameter 2.0mm, 3.0mm & 5.00mm for further coating & use in our factory. These are basic raw material for use.

3) The quality of the imported woven glass fabrics in tubular form or tubular fabrics is excellent and unmatched.

4) The imports are not a threat to any local manufacturer, who is in nature and whose quality is inferior and not upto the mark; to unable us to sustain 100ppm.

5) Chennai customs have detained one consignment and are demanding anti dumping duty @at 41% under customs notification No. 30 of 2011 dated 4/3/11 classifying our product as an Article of Glass Fibre.

I Mr. ***, citizen of India, am requesting the status of my application submitted to DCP Licensing, Delhi Police on 6/12/2010 and forwarded by them to the Govt of NCT. My arms License No ****F/7/2005/25.

1) What is the time frame defined for reviewing the Extension of Area Validity application for Arms License and reverting to the applicant?

2) When can I expect the renewal of Arms license?

3) Please inform me number of complaints for delay in issuing/renewing of Arms license received against your office in last one year or last financial year.

Regarding: Credit card application rejection reason

I had applied for a credit card, around 4-6 months ago, on the insistence of the bank's agents. I am told that my application stands rejected, but the reason for denial is not divulged.

Later again, a week ago, the customer care folks called me up, and told that I was eligible for a higher type of credit card, so they wanted my pay-slip details again. I duly obliged. But again, I get a rejection message.

Unfortunately, there is no proper record keeping option left for the applicant, as the agents come and collect personal details and take signatures and then vanish.
