Regarding: Why there is a partiality with the persons having a fully wait listed E-ticket

Indian Raillway does not allow to board the train to the persons having a fully wait listed E-ticket after chart preparation. Those buy the ticket from reservation counter (even if having a wait list status after chart preparation) are allowed to board the train.

Particulars of information required: As per list mentioned below

Q1. Why the fully wait listed e-tickets are cancelled after chart preparation even if  IRCTC takes the full faret while booking the ticket.

Q2. Why Indian Raillway treats fully wait listed E-tickets holders differently in comparison with persons who has a wait listed ticket bought from the counter.

Q3. Why the  fully wait listed E-tickets can not be treated as a valid ticket and the  holders  be allowed to board the train and enjoy the equallity right like the persons who has bought a wait listed ticket from the counter.

Regarding: Delay in Train timings

My name is ****, son of, Mr. *****.

I currently live in Delhi and was travelling for a very important work with my father from Agra Fort Station (Station Code AF) in Uttar Pradesh to Sasaram Station (Station code SSM) Bihar. The train was scheduled to start from Agra fort station at 7:50pm (24-09-2011) and reach Sasaram station at 06:25am (25-09-2011), respectively. However, the train got delayed for more than 12 hours.

Particulars of information required : As per list mentioned below

1) Who is responsible for the delay?

2) What is the reason for delay?

3) What action has been taken against the officials responsible?

4) What has been done or what steps have been taken to prevent such a situation in future?

5) Whom should we contact for compensation as we have incurred mental, physical and financial losses?

Please take action against every official responsible for delaying the train for more than 12 hours

Regarding: Delay in Railway Ticket TDR refund

I Have filed for a TDR refund on Dt:29.12.2010 and still waiting to get the money credited to my account. I called up IRCTC customer care to check the status. They asked me to send an email to them, so that they can forward it to Indian railway. I did that immediately. 

Its already 9 months now but I don't see any progress on the same.

VIGILANCE RAID AT Hazaribag Town Out agency PRS Counter

In this month of December 2010, a vigilance team comprising of two officers from Dhanbad division conducted a raid at Hazaribag Town PRS (Railway Booking Counter). I want to know:-

Particulars of information required : As per list mentioned below List of information requested
1. The names of the two officers who were conducting the raid.
2. The name or names of persons who were on duty at the PRS counter, on the day the raid was conducted.
3. The name of person or persons on whose complaint the raid was conducted.
4. The raid was conducted after how many years of the opening of the PRS counter at Hazaribag Town. If it was the first raid then why was there no vigilance or other raids conducted at the Hazaribag PRS Counter in so many years (ten years or more)?
5. Did the persons conducting the raid find any in discrepancy (Wrong facts or deeds) during the raid? If yes what was the final action taken for this?
6. How many Tatkal Tickets were caught inside the railway counter when the raid was carried out?

Subject: Hazaribagh railway out agency “ citi link” bus service

I would like to get some information regarding the following below mentioned points. I am already running bus services for hazaribag to Ranchi, Ramgarh, Bokaro, dhanbad etc. Now I am interested in running busses for Hazaribag to Koderma Railway station, just like the CITI Link Bus Service which is running busses from Hazaribag Town to Koderma Railway station. I would like to know the following.
One very important aspect here is that the questions I have asked must not be leaked as it has been done previously from RTI ECR offices and threatening have been made on life of persons who have dared to ask the questions against the person(s) involved with this group.
